SOB VI launch information

We’ve only 6 days from SOB VI launch!  Everything is green and GO for launch.
When: Saturday, Oct 11, 2008 7:00 AM
Where: KV4AC launch site
What: SOB VI - 1500g balloon - amateur radio payload
APRS & telemetry callsign & frequency - W4SPA-11 - 144.990 (please don’t transmit here, turn UI digis off!)
Simplex repeater callsign & frequency: W4SPA - 446.375 - 141.3 PL - Net control: N4CIO
Repeater use protocol:
  1. Wait for net control to call for check-ins.
  2. Wait for CW-ID.
  3. Transmit your callsign, name, location (city and state) - keep total keydown time to 20 seconds or less.
  4. Wait for simplex repeater to repeat your transmission - followed by beep.
  5. Wait for CW-ID.
  6. Listen for returning station’s transmission.
  7. Go To Step 2.

All check-ins will be QSL’d with commemorative QSL card.
